The Netware protocol is based on IPX/SPX which was supported on Windows operating systems by a Novell client as well as an IPX/SPX protocol stack from Microsoft up to and including Windows XP. With the release of Windows Vista and Server 2013 support for IPX/SPX as well as the Novell client library has ended.
Novell Netware as a file/print server platform received its last update in May 2009 and its general support ended in 2010.
With the release of Xbase++ 2.0 in 2014, we, therefore, dropped Netware support of the Xbase++ XbToolsIII add-on. Both libraries are no longer part of the Xbase++ product delivery.
